3 sports camp registration tools to compare with a two-child test

Choose camp software by what happens when a family’s plans change. Signing up for one week is only the start. You also need to handle a second child, a session move, a refund and the roster staff use at pickup.

This guide compares Campminder, Jumbula and LeagueApps in alphabetical order. Secondslide publishes it. We reviewed the vendors’ own pages on September 11, 2026; we did not open accounts or test enrollments. The free camp registration test sheet helps you check the gaps with made-up campers and no real payment.

LeagueAppsPayment plans and signed waiver recordsWhat a session move does to fees and waivers

The sources do not establish that every tool handles every camp rule. Ask for the exact plan and a test of your own setup. A feature list is not proof that discounts, fees and records stay correct after a change.

1. Campminder

Campminder’s Classic suite lists registration, forms, email and reporting. Deluxe adds tools such as a mobile parent app and further form features. Ask for a quote based on your camp’s needs and camper count. Do not assume an extra in Deluxe is included in Classic. Campminder suites

Its deposit rules can apply to the season or a session group. The guide also covers a pay-in-full choice and discount, registration fees and deposit controls. Use those details to ask how your two-week camp would be set up. Deposit rules, session setup

The family help page lets a parent start an application for another child in the same account. That does not prove a sibling discount applies. It also separates web forms from uploaded forms; payment access depends on what the camp enables. CampInTouch family help

Ask the vendor to move one made-up camper to another week. Check the new deposit, remaining balance, forms and roster. The sources reviewed here do not settle the exact installment, sibling-discount or refund result for your camp.

2. Jumbula

Jumbula lists multi-week camps, session limits and waitlists. It also lists waivers and follow-up forms, sibling discounts, installments, refunds, transfers and cancellations. These are useful starting points for a camp with several weeks and families booking more than one child. Jumbula features

Confirm which features your plan includes. Its pricing has Pay As You Go, Rise and Ascend plans, with different monthly and annual terms. Processing and add-ons can add costs. Ask how extra enrollments are counted and charged; a low starting price is not the full camp budget. Jumbula pricing

Test a sibling discount before and after canceling one child’s week. Ask whether the result is a refund or account credit, which fees remain and who can approve it. This review did not verify that calculation. Do not tell families it happens automatically until your exact setup is checked.

3. LeagueApps

LeagueApps supports payment plans with first-payment and autopay controls. Its guide also covers private plans and reminders. Ask which settings fit your camp’s session structure. LeagueApps payment plans

Its core price is a share of payment transactions, plus a one-time setup fee. Some optional services have annual charges. Get the exact share and extras in writing rather than treating the core plan as fee-free. LeagueApps pricing

LeagueApps lets staff download signed waivers. Moving and copying a camper follow different rules. For a move between programs with all the same waivers, staff can choose to carry the signed waivers over. With only a partial match, the move removes accepted waivers from the program, though the member profile keeps them.

Copying a camper always requires acceptance of the new program’s waivers, even when the words match. Do not treat a copied registration as signed. LeagueApps waivers

Ask the vendor to show a session move with the camp’s actual waiver setup, using fake details. Then check the signed status, balance, discount and roster. This review did not verify every camp transfer or refund rule.

Run one useful demo for each finalist

Use two made-up campers in a family and two approved adult test accounts. Choose two camp weeks with age and space limits. Try the sibling discount, a required form and a deposit-plus-balance plan if the vendor says it supports them.

Next, move camper A to another week and cancel camper B. Check open spaces, discounts, future charges, refunds or credits, and required forms. Look at the pickup roster as well as the parent screen. Keep a blank result as “not tested,” not a pass.

Use a vendor demo or test mode. Do not enter real child records, payment details or medical information to complete this comparison. The test is a buying question, not a real enrollment.

Compare costs for the same camp

Use the same camper count, weeks, paid volume and number of payments for both quotes. Include setup, subscriptions, extra enrollments, payment fees and add-ons. Ask what refunds and chargebacks cost and whether you must keep another tool running.

Separate camp-paid costs from fees families pay. Count each fee once, and leave the underlying tuition out of the software-cost total. A lower cost for the camp may just move the fee to parents.

Where Secondslide fits

Secondslide publishes this guide and isn’t one of the three camp tools above. If your camp belongs to a club that also runs a season, the club side may matter more. Secondslide runs registration, payments and payment plans on one connected platform with scheduling, communications, team chat and a parent mobile app, and the same partner outfits teams and runs team stores. Our team can also set up donation fundraising, sponsorships and a program website. Talk with Secondslide about the season, then test any camp needs with the sheet below.
