RushOrderTees vs Custom Ink for team shirts
Comparing RushOrderTees vs Custom Ink is most useful when both price the same team order. Custom Ink documents a group form for collecting sizes and payments. RushOrderTees advertises fast rush delivery and no minimum on printed tees. The choice depends on your actual shirt, artwork, arrival date and how families will pay.
The documented differences
Secondslide publishes this guide and sells team apparel. We reviewed both vendors’ U.S. pages on September 30, 2026. We have not placed test orders or compared their finished prints.
| Buying question | Custom Ink | RushOrderTees |
|---|---|---|
| Can parents enter sizes and pay? | Documents a Group Order Form with online or offline payment options | Confirm the group-order flow you need before choosing |
| What is standard timing? | Estimated two-week delivery | Expected 9-12 business days; standard dates generally not guaranteed |
| Is faster delivery offered? | One-week rush and eligible three-business-day super rush | Advertises rush as fast as two business days |
| Will I approve a proof? | More complex orders receive a picture proof for approval | Conditions differ by page and order; ask for explicit approval |
| Can I buy only a few? | Minimum is shown for each product; some have none | Printed tees have no minimum; the method still needs confirmation |

Send the same basket to both
Use a complete order before deciding which price looks better. This example is illustrative: 48 navy team shirts, with 32 youth sizes and 16 adult sizes. Each gets the same two-color front logo. All shirts go to one address and must arrive before the opening game.
Ask both vendors to price the same garment style. If one substitutes a different shirt, note the brand, fabric and fit. Request the intended print size for youth and adult shirts. A large design on an adult shirt may need a smaller version for the youngest players.
Custom Ink’s pricing guide lists product, ink colors and quantity as price factors. Names and numbers can change the price too. Get a full total from both vendors, including any changes needed for your art, shipping and the requested date.
A no-minimum printed shirt may use a different process from a bulk screen-print order. RushOrderTees’ screen-printing page says smaller runs may use digital printing. Confirm the method when you care about the finish or matching a previous order. Our decoration guide can help you prepare that question.
Compare arrival dates, then the rush cost
Custom Ink lists one-week rush at an added 15% of the order cost and three-business-day super rush at an added 30%. Super rush is not available on every product. Its published timing applies to the contiguous United States, with address restrictions described on the delivery page.
RushOrderTees says free standard shipping applies within the continental U.S. and generally gives a delivery range. Rush shipping and some destinations add fees. Its shipping page also says shipping to several addresses may cost extra.
Give each supplier the date you need the box, not just the game date. You still need time to count the shirts and hand them out. Ask what happens to that date if a proof needs another change. Compare the written commitment for your exact basket.
Ask for an approval step
Design review and your approval are separate steps. An artist may check the file without asking you to sign off on every detail.
Custom Ink says more complex orders receive a picture proof. RushOrderTees’ help page and screen-printing page describe different piece-count thresholds and approval options. Ask either vendor to confirm that your order will wait for your approval if that is what you need.
Check spelling, colors, logo placement and both youth and adult print sizes. For names and numbers, compare every line with the roster. Save the approved version with the order confirmation.
How families order
Custom Ink’s Group Order Form is worth considering when parents need to submit their own sizes or pay separately. Its help page describes online, offline or mixed payment collection.
Before you share a link, confirm the closing date, how missing orders are handled and where the shirts will ship. If the club pays for the whole order, individual parent payment may not matter. A single checked roster can be enough.
For season-long fanwear, compare an ongoing team store separately. A one-time group order and an ongoing store serve different needs.
Ask about order problems
Custom Ink’s guarantee describes help for products that differ significantly from the design, flawed goods or late arrival, with remedies such as replacements and refunds. RushOrderTees’ return page asks buyers to report issues within 45 days of delivery.
Neither summary tells you every outcome for a parent who selected the wrong size. Ask about that situation before ordering. Also price a small late-player reorder, with the same garment and decoration if available.
