15 baseball uniform ideas shown as complete outfits
Choose the jersey, pants, cap, belt and socks together. A jersey design alone does not show how the team will look or what families need to order.
The 15 concepts below use fictional Cedar Grove and CG lettering. They are original design ideas, not products, tested uniforms or league-approved kits. Each includes jersey front and back plus the rest of the outfit. Use the free uniform planning sheet to check fit, proofs and reorders without signing up.
Check rules and samples before picking a design
Ask your league about current uniform and number rules. For Little League teams, the official patch guide gives placement instructions for different sleeve styles. Do not apply that rule to every baseball league. These concepts do not include an official patch or logo.
Use the exact supplier’s size chart and, where possible, a sample. Custom Ink’s sizing guidance is one example of checking the selected product’s measurements. It does not make youth and adult sizes interchangeable.
Check the real name and number print at the distance your team needs. These drawings do not prove measured readability, fabric performance or color match. Follow the actual garment label and any patch instructions for care.
1. Navy jersey, gray pants
A solid navy full-button jersey has cream CEDAR GROVE across the front, split clear of the placket. The back has cream PLAYER and 12. Pair it with gray full-length pants, a navy CG cap, navy belt and navy socks.
This is a small-palette starting point. Check the front lettering on both sides of the button seam.
Reorder note: Save the gray pants style as well as the jersey proof; a replacement gray may differ.
2. Cream and forest with a chest mark
Use a cream full-button jersey with a small forest CG on the left chest. Forest PLAYER and 12 sit on the cream back. Add cream full-length pants, a forest cap with cream CG, forest belt and forest socks.
The small front mark leaves more open space than a full wordmark. Check its size on the smallest youth jersey.
Reorder note: Keep the exact cream and forest color references; do not assume another supplier uses the same shades.
3. Pinstripes with a solid number panel
Use white jersey front and pants with fine navy pinstripes. Place navy CEDAR GROVE on a solid white chest strip and navy PLAYER/12 on a solid white back panel. Add a navy cap, belt and socks.
The solid panels keep lettering off the stripe pattern. Ask for an actual print proof so the panel does not disappear into the layout.
Reorder note: Save stripe spacing and the panel dimensions with the art file.
4. Maroon with a front number
A maroon two-button jersey has cream CEDAR GROVE on the chest and a small cream 12 below it. The back has cream PLAYER/12. Use gray full-length pants, maroon CG cap, belt and socks.
A two-button neck changes where the chest design can sit. Check that the front number does not crowd the wordmark.
Reorder note: Record the two-button style code, not only the team colors.
5. Black and gold with restrained piping
Use a black full-button jersey with thin gold collar and placket piping. Cream CEDAR GROVE and cream back PLAYER/12 stay on solid black. Add gray pants, black cap with gold CG, black belt and black socks with one gold band.
Keep gold in the trim rather than outlining every letter. Ask whether piping is sewn or printed before comparing quotes.
Reorder note: Keep trim width and method in the reorder record.
6. Cobalt pullover with white pants
A cobalt crewneck pullover has white CG on the front and white PLAYER/12 on the back. Pair it with plain white full-length pants, cobalt cap, belt and socks.
The pullover removes the front button seam. Have players check the actual neck opening and fit in the chosen sample.
Reorder note: Save the pullover neckline and size chart with the order.
7. Charcoal and orange with gray pants
Use a charcoal full-button jersey with a small orange CG chest mark and white PLAYER/12 on the back. Add gray pants with a single charcoal side stripe, charcoal cap with orange CG, orange belt and charcoal socks.
Orange supplies the accent while the large back number remains white on charcoal. Check the small mark separately from the number.
Reorder note: Record the pants stripe and belt color so later additions still follow the plan.
8. White vest-style jersey over navy
A white sleeveless button-front jersey shows navy CEDAR GROVE and navy back PLAYER/12. Show a plain navy undershirt, white full-length pants, navy cap, belt and socks.
This concept adds a separate undershirt to the order. Check the actual league rules and supplier sizing for the full combination.
Reorder note: Record both garment styles; do not treat the undershirt as an unspecified extra.
9. Forest raglan with cream center
Use a cream two-button jersey body with forest raglan sleeves. Forest CEDAR GROVE sits on the cream front; forest PLAYER/12 sits on the cream back. Add gray pants, forest cap, belt and socks.
Raglan seams affect where sleeve details can go. Reserve any required patch area before adding decoration.
Reorder note: Keep a front and back sleeve-seam proof with the style code.
10. Navy chest band on a white jersey
A white crewneck pullover has one solid navy chest band with cream CEDAR GROVE inside it. The back stays white with navy PLAYER/12. Use gray pants, navy cap and belt, and white socks with one navy band.
The band is a design choice, not a place for extra sponsor marks by default. Check the band height on youth and adult sizes.
Reorder note: Save the band position and the sock pattern, not just a color list.
11. Cream jersey with high socks
Use a cream full-button jersey with navy CG on the front and navy PLAYER/12 on the back. Pair it with cream knicker-length pants, navy cap and belt, and visible navy socks.
The shorter pants change the full outfit. Ask players to review the actual pants length and available size range.
Reorder note: Keep the pants cut and sock length in the reorder sheet.
12. Cobalt sleeves with a white body
A white full-button jersey has cobalt sleeves and collar, cobalt CEDAR GROVE on the front and cobalt PLAYER/12 on the back. Add white pants with cobalt side piping, cobalt cap and belt, and white socks.
The contrast sleeves differ from a stripe across the chest. Check the front design around the placket and preserve solid space behind all numbers.
Reorder note: Record sleeve construction and pants piping as separate quote details.
13. Gray road-style set with navy trim
A solid gray full-button jersey has navy CEDAR GROVE and navy back PLAYER/12. Gray pants carry navy side piping. Use a navy cap with cream CG, navy belt and navy socks.
A matching gray set needs an actual side-by-side sample check. A digital mockup cannot prove the two fabrics match.
Reorder note: Keep both garment color codes and ask about a replacement quote before promising future matches.
14. Simple navy practice alternate
Use a navy crewneck practice jersey with a small cream CG on the front and a large cream 12 on the back, without a player name. Pair it with the same gray full-length pants, navy cap, belt and socks as concept 1.
Reusing the pants plan reduces the number of pieces to decide on. Confirm whether this alternate is for practice only or allowed for games.
Reorder note: Record the shared pants style and separate practice jersey code.
15. Maroon sleeve trim with cream pants
A cream full-button jersey has maroon sleeve cuffs and a compact maroon CG chest mark. The back has maroon PLAYER/12. Add cream full-length pants, maroon cap and belt, and cream socks with one maroon band.
The cuff trim gives the set a different balance from a solid maroon top. Check whether the trim changes sleeve fit or the available decoration area.
Reorder note: Save cuff width, sock pattern and cream shade in the final proof.
Keep one approved order record
Save the supplier, style codes, colors, size chart, front/back proof and number font together. Record youth and adult sizes separately. Ask about stock and replacement options; do not promise that a future order will match without a new quote.
Have one adult check every name and number before the order is placed. Keep private player measurements out of public documents. Record who approves changes and how late additions will be handled.
